All I have to say is what a crazy ending... I did not see that coming. Emily meets the man of her dreams and then she meets his mother. His mother out the gate has something against Emily? Emily is hoping to have a good mother-daughter in law relationship but every time she turns around her future mother in law seems to have something up her sleeve to make Emily mad or upset. You would think that Emily's fiance would stick up for her since he is going to marry her but he does not. Even at the end he feels that he must cancel the wedding so that he can be with his mother. I enjoyed reading the book and couldnt out it down but I kept asking myself why does Emily keep putting up with this? Doesnt she deserve better?
