After reading the description of the book, I was so excited to start reading this book. It hooked me at the beginning but then fizzled out when things kept getting more and more unrealistic. It was like too many plot twists and filler drama. I stuck with the book and finished it and was a little surprised at how it all ended but there was definitely some major foreshadowing throughout the book that could easily point readers to the ending. Overall it was a solid book and an interesting read but I thought it had a lot more potential.
I didn't really connect with the main character that much and thought it was hard to root for her too much. I also didn't care for her husband-to-be so that could be part of the reason why I didn't enjoy this book as much as I could have.
