Hello! Plot twist! I feel like I should have seen this coming, but I was so wrapped up in this book.
Emily thinks Adam is perfect (this is the part I missed and the reason for my lack of not getting to the plot twist sooner). Lurking in the shadows, though, is a woman who shares a deep bond with Adam. His mother - a crazy, soon-to-be mother-in-law who may never be happy when it comes to finding a woman for her son. Pammie will stop at nothing to get rid of Emily forever.
This book was super fast-paced and kept me on my toes. Pammie is CRAZY and her character is the definition of what needs to be included in a psychological thriller. I also want to throw in here the jealous brother, but I will leave this suspended in the air. Definitely a good read and kind of creepy, in an unapproving mother type of way. I'm really not sure how much more I can comment on without giving the book away or sounding like I didn't even read it, but I definitely recommend it.
