This thriller is a bit of a slow burn compared to others that I've read. The writing was well-done and straightforward, and I really enjoyed how the author called back to previous events throughout the book. Pammie's character was THE BEST. I have no clue how Emily was able to maintain her composure in front of her. The author did a really great job of writing and developing Pammie's character. There was a part in the middle of the book that felt a bit repetitious and sort of slowed down for me, but I think it really picked up towards the end.
I was definitely anticipating a twist at the end, but I was not expecting that ending. The book itself felt a bit slower than I would have liked but the wild ending made up for it. Really looking forward to reading more from this author!
