Great little read when you're looking for something fun, with twists and turns thrown in there. A little predictable at times but I enjoyed the characters and finished this one in 3 days.
Present day Emily must decide if her feelings for her fiance can win him over against his own mother, who has decided that Emily MUST go. For some I'm sure the book is relatively on point with Mother-in laws.
Emily's friends are a delightful mix of helpful and hilarious as they help Emily chart and navigate the waters of what to do. Seb, being the gay best friend, can almost immediately see that something is off, but others are completely charmed by Adam and his mother. The only hint of normalcy comes from Adam's Aunt, who off the bat tries telling the couple to do what THEY want.
If you're not looking for a hard core thriller/mystery, pick this one up.
