Emily loves Adam, she thinks he is absolutely perfect in every way except when it comes to his mother Pammy. As their relationship progresses it seems more and more like his mother would do anything to break them up. Why? Pammy is sabotaging her for what seems like no reason. Sandie Jones has an impeccable taste for writing and seemingly it showed throughout this novel. Jones let us into the MC Emily and her mind through all of her imperfections and made her relatable.
While I was reading I had the complete wrong conclusion in my mind, the idea I had formed was blown out of the water by the ending of this book.
