Well, well...I thought I had this one pretty figured out. There was always an underlying feeling of something that I didn't know, but I was unsure if anything was going to come of it. Boy did it ever!
This was a fun and quick read about a mother that will stop at nothing to sabotage her son's relationship with his new girlfriend. What lengths will one woman go to keep them apart? She is the worst case scenario when you think of a mother-in-law and I'm sure there are some women out there that could relate to portions of this book and how they feel in the company of their significant others mother. But not everything is so black and white.
I have read a few books from Reese Witherspoons' Hello Sunshine Book club and this one just might be my favorite so far. If you enjoy thrillers and crazy in laws then this book is right up your alley.
