Emily is a successful woman, happily in a relationship with Adam. She is living a great life until she meets Adam's mother, Pammie. From the moment she meets her, Pammie does everything in her power to ruin the relationship that Emily and Adam have built.
I thought this was an OK read but not phenomenal. It was entertaining. At times, the things Adam would do or say to defend his mother' actions were frustrating and borderline creepy. All of the characters are unlikeable -- Pammie for the things she does to her son's girlfriend, Adam for his response to his mother, and Emily for trying so hard to stay in the toxic relationship out of spite. This was an easy read, and I did want to keep turning the pages, but I was not wowed by the twists or the ending.
