I sat down just now and downloaded the first excerpt. Got hooked in from the moment I started reading. These 30 pages left me wanting more.
I want to know more about Adam and Emily. You can feel the chemistry that exists between them pop off the page. These two complex characters revolve around one another in ways that leave you breathless. They click, even when they refuse to admit it.
The wedding dress . . . I can vividly imagine it. I can't help but to wonder who the person is that wanted to dress this woman in it. Why's it imperative that they inflict pain?
Part of me wonders if whoever it is has been burned by love. Perhaps it's caused them to do what they must do throughout the story. And who is the other woman?
