From the enticing cover and menacing tone of the related prologue, to the cliffhanger at the end of chapter four, this page-turner in its full version is likely to be a one-sitting read for one like myself who feasts on British psychological thrillers. The author serves up a delectably light romance with a dollop of suspense in the thirty-page sample that leaves the reader hungering for the rest of the story!

I really like the writing style and flow: the descriptions, the repartee and banter. The characters are well developed in such a short span, and the narrator is immensely likable and relatable.

It seems Adam's mother is one to rival Daniel's in Michelle Frances's 'The Girlfriend.' Mwahahaha! I cannot wait to read the rest of this engaging-cum-gripping novel.
