I was intrigued by the character of Emily from the first page. She seemed like a smart and fun woman with good friends and not someone just looking for a man to complete her. Adam does seem to have some quirks and I am not yet sure why Emily is so taken with him, but I am sure I will have a better understanding of the story as it unfolds. As for 'mum', there seems to be quite a bit more to her than just a still-grieving widow who adores her son. I am putting this book on my TBR list whether I win this raffle or not! Sounds like an enjoyable, twisty read.
