The plot was what pulled me in with this young adult fantasy retelling of King Arthur, I adore tellings of King Arthur and that is why I decided to use my points on The Other Merlin by Robyn Schneider. I love retellings so that and the plot made me use my points on this young adult Fantasy 2021 title. I had recently seen this retelling of King Arthur on one of my favorite booktuber's videos and knew that as soon as it showed up I needed to request it! I had read one of Robyn Schneider's novels, The Beginning of Everything, and enjoyed it. So, I decided to pick this one up based on the retelling and the plot. I enjoyed it so much that I will be checking out more novels from the author in the future, her past and future ones! Thank you bookish first and publisher for the hardcover copy of this novel! It was a great read and I am glad that I picked this one to spend my points on this year!
