This summary had me interested at the start, the promptly lost me completely when it started to sound like a book geared towards junior high kids (and a trope-y one at that), but then it came around enough that I've adopted a 'wait and see' mentality. It has the potential to be a great book for all ages, or to pigeonhole itself to one group
