I wasn't particularly a fan of the cover and I've never been into Arthurian legends or retellings, but I found myself pleasantly surprised. This isn't the most beautiful writing ever and I doubt it would make it into my list of favorites- but I can appreciate a fun read and this excerpt has me feeling it is. I appreciate the humor, the characters so far seem charming, and it seems to be a fast paced, easy read that I could enjoy.
