It's an amusing enough retelling of legend. Does what it's supposed to, I'm sure it will be entertaining, seems to follow a successful formula enjoyed by many. It doesn't quite work for me, maybe it's in the language or the feeling that these are modern teens not ones who grew up with 12th century England experiences, but I'm also not the right audience now. 15 year old me probably would have loved it and hoped it was a series.
