I am eagerly awaiting the publication of this one. The cover from the beginning gave me vibes of the Jane and Mary series by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows. Once I started reading, I immediately knew that suspicion was confirmed. I absolutely love the funny historical parody sort of tales. I just started reading My Contrary Mary this morning, so maybe I saw this on a good day where I was definitely in the mood for more of the same. I am generally interested in English history and stories taking place in Great Britain. Add in the snark factor and fun, and I am totally sold.
