On the one hand, I'm so over all these Arthurian retellings; can we just hit pause on those for like a year or two? I think this book would be more interesting if it was just about a girl going undercover as a court wizard. Why did it need the Arthurian trappings? It would work just as well in a completely original setting. On the other hand, it sounds fun and I'm curious to find out what happens to Emry.
