Just when I thought I was sick of Merlin stories...
As a kid, I loved any story related to Merlin and King Arthur. The romance, the betrayal, the DRAMA.... and then I got older and got sick of seeing the same thing done over and over again. The ROMANCE, the BETRAYAL... ugh. ;)
But after reading the first few chapters of "The Other Merlin," I'm hopeful for a new Merlin story that I will enjoy reading. The characters were witty, playful, and the dialogue made me laugh more than once. Yes, I can see where there will be plenty of Arthurian drama, but I can also see a new voice for the story that will make the story worth revisiting. I am definitely keeping an eye out for this release, and excited to see what kind of amazing magic a female Merlin will be able to produce!
