While the bisexual representation is a plus point, I am not completely sold on the story itself. Ermy feels like just a bisexual Alex Russo from the Disney Channel show and the fact that it is a spin on camelot feels more like an aesthetic background than vital information. Maybe the writing is great and that will be the salvation, but with the sub par cover and underwhelming fantasy plot, I don't think this book is one I will enjoy.
