Arthurian retellings usually aren't my thing, but I enjoyed this opening! I also appreciate the twist that the author put on Camelot. Just from reading the opening, I can tell that the story is going to be witty and fun. But I also see the potential for it to be engrossing and heartfelt. I think fans of this kind of fantasy story will be pleased!
