The Other Merlin is a delightful tale! After reading the preview of the novel, I was very impressed with the character development and the dialogue between the characters. The concept of this novel is very unique, and I love the author’s take on the famous legend. The main character, Emery, struck me as a bold and determined heroine who risks her life for the opportunity to practice magic, something she has always dreamed of doing. The beginning chapters were particularly well written because they captivated my attention and made me want to continue reading the book. I cannot wait to see what becomes of Emery, Lancelot, and Prince Arthur! I also am impressed with the cover; it is both mysterious and captivating.
