A fresh and hilarious new take on an old legend.
As a sucker for retellings and a lover of Arthurian legends, this book is right up my alley and I was sucked in from the first page. I love how the book has a more "modern" feel to it, which is definitely a unique twist compared to other Arthurian retellings that I have read.
I love the characters so far and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the book has in store for them. I cannot wait to see what antics Emry gets into because I already get the feeling that she is going to stir up some trouble. Likewise, I really want to see what Castle Camelot and its cast of characters have in store for both Emry and me as the reader and I cannot wait to read more!
And I love how perfectly captured Emry is on the cover of the book, you can clearly tell she is up to something.
