Finally got this book! I was starting to feel like I was The Only Girl in Town who had not gotten her copy🤣.
I have to say this book was not what I expected. I thought it was going to be some weird mystery, maybe aliens, something like that. Something that would cause everyone and everything to disappear. However what he get is a lonely girl who feels alone so that is what she perceives. It’s how most of us feel when no one really sees us, however I didn’t get that vibe from the character as she seemed like she was well liked and quite popular among her peers. Maybe that’s still how people feel when they are in the limelight???
It was an interesting take on depression and the choices people make do deal with it or perhaps live with it. As the story progresses you actually start to think the worse, but even when you feel like you are drowning you overcome your thoughts.
