This book was a surprise for me. I didn’t expect the story that was told. It was very introspective, lyrical and emotional too. It took me a bit to catch onto what was going on in this story. But wow. It was a very character driven story considering that she is alone! But you do get flashbacks to when everyone was there. And it tells you how she came to be alone… and if everyone comes back. It’s a lot of self discovery and reflection. I felt so emotional about this one.
This one felt like an important read. Like it’ll make you more aware and cognizant of yourself and those around you.
I think that if you like books that are all about perspective and seeing outside of yourself and the typical. This is the book for you.
There are some triggers so be sure to look into those as well. It’s very haunting and emotional and i enjoyed it but i think for a bit i didn’t know where it was going.
