This book begins with the main character July beginning to realize her whole town has disappeared.At first she thinks it is her mind playing tricks on her. Then as she searches she discovers that no one is there at first she can’t accept this how can an entire town disappear? So she tries to go to the next town but an invisible force stops her as she searches she remembers things that happened before this strange event. Her only clue to what she needs to do is her old journal that she threw into the river washed up with the words get them back. As July thinks of how to do this she seemingly wishes her cat Yolo back to town. Can she wish the whole town back she wonders and so will the reader. Grabs you from page one you want to know what happens next. Will definitely add this to my want to read list.
