I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been for July to realize she was left behind AND can't leave her town. Did she actually wish for everyone to go away, and why did it actually happen? To prove a lesson to her? That's kind of what it seemed like from what I read. I really enjoy Ally Condie as an author, and this seems like another great one.
