The writing style of this author draws you in right away. The idea that the whole town has disappeared, but July is all alone is intriguing. It’s interesting how she tries to leave the town herself and isn’t able to pass the border into another town. Something is keeping her there, and I’m interested to see what it is. The conversations with her therapist lead me to believe she suffers from anxiety and I am wondering if this experience will help her come out stronger. Overall, I couldn’t stop reading and would love the opportunity to continue reading this story and find out what happens next for July.
