This is one of the more interesting First Looks I've read. I have super hazy memories of reading a little bit of the Left Behind series when I was younger and was reminded of that book while reading, but in a better way. I liked that it was clear mental health was going to be a central theme of this book and I think that's a more interesting twist on this concept.

The very, very brief chapters were a little jarring for me, though I understand that they're meant to provide a sort of overwhelmed, anxious feeling to the reader.

I also think the cover for this book doesn't quite represent what's inside. The cover reminds me of the thriller/mystery genre and while this is sort of line with that genre, it's not quite the same?
