I had a feeling I would like this First Impression just based on the cover art alone, but the first chapter sucked me right in and I was hooked from the description of July in the woods alone. After reading this, I have so many questions that I need answered!
The shorter chapters contribute to the jumpy feeling of suspense and creates an almost atmospheric sense of tension and mystery. The premise is fascinating but I can tell it will also touch on deeper themes of shame, guilt, and growing up. Definitely a must read!
