When I began reading the First Look for “Only Girl in Town,” admittedly I was less than impressed. Multiple times, sentences were spaced out over several lines of text and this writing style was a HUGE turnoff for me. However, as I read on, the storyline hooked me! Coupled with short chapters, I found the First Look impossible to put down once I got past the weird sentence structure in the beginning. The cover fits perfectly, it’s simple yet mysterious, and the color scheme is perfect!
I’m truly excited to read on and learn: 1) what happened to July last year, 2) what is going on in Lithia, and 3) where did all the people go / will they return?? I seriously can’t wait to find out what happens next!
