This concept is so fascinating! I feel like I have heard of concepts with aspects of this, something similar to a town disappearing, but I'm really interested in seeing how Ally Condie navigates it. I love getting a little glimpse into how things were and how they are in the present. It sets up the scene and allows the reader a fighting chance in solving the mystery of what's going on.
