Wow, this book. I have to say that the subject matter of this book scared me a little bit. I have seen too many shootings in the news and cried at the loss of innocent lives. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about it in a book. But there are survivors and their stories deserved to be told. How does their life go on? What path did they go down as a result of that day?
This book was well written and so heartfelt. My heart broke for those involved in the tragedy and the paths that it led people down. Liv and Finn were different people in high school and one tragic night changed everything for them. This story is about surviving the unthinkable and making something of your life. Living your life to the fullest to honor those that can't. Finn and Liv's story touched me on such a deep level. I can't wait to read the rest of this series. I know each story will gut me in a different way. Great read!
