This book stole my attention from the first page!
I couldn’t put it down, the author takes you down memory lane where tragedy had struck and Liv and Finn were traumatized and where they had hid in fright in that tiny closet after hearing Fin’s date yell gun, gun!
The characters are so much stronger than I could have been, meeting up many years later, this is a second chance.
What should have been a fun prom night for two young teens turned into them going into a closet to argue and instead they make out and then are left cowering for their lives when Finn’s date yells “Gun! Gun!”
So Finn leaves Olivia in the closet to help his real date.
The book has these flashbacks just as the characters have them replaying in their mind.
The story grips your heart and it’s so heartbreakingly good.
