The author did a great job explaining and tying in the background of the characters. They had such a traumatic experience in their high school years with a school shooting. A documentary brings them all back together again. Friendships were developed over the trama. When they return the girls make a pact to work harder on that friendship, as no one knows them and understands them as they do. Sparks fly between Finn and Liv. It is a sweet love story. Can they overcome the fears they have and be together? The author gives great detail about the characters lives from early on as well as present. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it.
