I really liked the storyline in this book. Based on the cover, I thought it would be another typical romance novel. However, the reader quickly finds out that this story has a real depth to it that gives it more substance. The events in the book are very timely in today's world, but the focus on the survivors makes it a story worth reading.

I really liked the characterization of Liv and Finn. Liv seemed to have self esteem issues not too different from most girls her age during high school and I found the feelings of insecurity, the desire to forget and yet cling to the past, and the disillusionment that comes with adulthood all very relatable. I also like how Finn is portrayed as a man with faults who has since grown up to find his way.

I will add this one to my "To Read" shelf; I want to know what happens.
