The Ones That Got Away by Roni Loren was an easy to read, fun novel. I wasn't blown away by what I found, but I still enjoyed what I did read. The premise of the book was intriguing and I think Loren started out the series with the most boring couple. I think the next books will be more interesting because their stories would actually be shocking and new and different, but I had the two main characters figured out immediately when I really just wanted to be reading something new. The book ended exactly the way I thought it would, and it felt like nothing really happened in 300 pages. Again, the story was not bad persay, I just am tired of reading similar stories that all end the same way. I think Loren has a lot more possibilities with the next books in the series, and I am excited to read them.
