I'm not sure how I feel about a book using a school shooting as the accelerant for two people to find their "true love" again. From the pages read, there are aspects of the shooting that are literally from other school shootings, from the list to how people were hiding. At least the reactions of the survivors are true to those who have been through something like this and are likely suffering from PTSD. I'd have to read the whole thing to get a better feeling for whether or not this subject was treated with dignity, but I'd also have to make it through the book first.
