Hmm, I’m a little conflicted about The Ones Who Got Away. On one hand, I’m all for second chance romances. However, the tragedy mentioned in the synopsis is front and center. And, I honestly don’t know how I feel about reading a fictional account of that when it already frequently happens in real life. That being said, the writing is easy to get into, and the author did a good job capturing the feelings—and fears—that Olivia Arias had. Also, Finn’s introduction was great.
