I have to say that I'm not a huge fan of the cover. It looks like a typical romance and I don't think I would ever pick it up based on the cover. I wish romances would take a note from women's lit or thriller or anything else to make a bit more work appropriate covers!
The backstory with the school shooting on prom night sucked me in. I read a lot of thrillers and suspense, so it gives a romance a bit of an edgy vibe. I am definitely interested in learning more about Liv and Finn and hopefully seeing them together in the end! The supporting characters are also fun and I'm hoping they play a part in the novel.
