This romance novel clearly has some substance behind it. A horrific tragedy both drove Finn and Liv apart, and now it's the reason they are back in the same town. The excerpt was emotional and powerful, and the characters seem to be substantive and intriguing. The side characters introduced so far- fellow survivors- also seem to be smart, interesting women. I get the sense that this could be a really solid romance with an excellent story behind it.
