The opening of this book pulled me in right away. The emotions that Liv and Finn, even Rebecca, Taryn, and Kincaid, were handled realistically. There is a lot of fear and hurt described here, and I want to read more to see how it all plays out. In this first impression, it starts out dark and points toward light and hope, and finding the strength within. I really did enjoy this snippet.
