I almost didn't read this First Look because the cover and blurb didn't seem very interesting to me at all. Then I started reading it and the writing style is so well done that I was fully immersed in the story after only a few lines. Now I need to read it, darn it!!
I don't care for the cover, I feel like it is too generic and doesn't do justice to the unique nature of the story. Maybe something with the smiling bee mascot described in the opening lines would be appropriate and more unique.
