My first thought was that 'oh, this is another class reunion romance', but then it became obvious that it was much more than that. It is a very relevant theme with all the homegrown terrorist headlines today. We read about Columbine and we think 'how terrible'. But then the headlines fade. Even if the perpetrator survives, his trial usually takes a few years and memory has already begun to dim. We see the notice of the trial and we think 'that name is familiar', but we still have to look it up to remember. When we do, we think how horrible it is for the victim's family to have to live it over again. Seldom do we stop to think about the damage done to the survivors. They were the lucky ones. Or were they... I definitely will be on the lookout for this one. Terrific cover...don't change a thing.
