"The ones we're meant to find" is about two sisters, Cee and Kay, who have been separated in a sense and are trying to find their way back to each other. Cee woke up in an abandoned island 3 years ago, and all she remembers is her name and that she has a sister. Kay is a STEM prodigy worlds away, who is dealing with the aftermath of her sisters disappearance.

This book was quite literally everything. The bond between the sisters, the mystery sort of element to it, the plot twists, the characters, the worldbuilding. Literally everything was perfect. All the characters were so well developed and interesting to read about. Cee and Kay were completely different narrators, and their POVs were easy to recognize. Their journey in and of itself was interesting and had me compelled from the first page.

I will say that I was really confused about the time and the world in the beginning, but it started to make more sense in the later chapters, and everything just kind of weaved together perfectly.

I really don't think I have the words to describe how much I love this book.
