This book is lyrical and beautiful, I liked how it didn't tell me what U-me was right off the bat, but showed me. I felt almost like I was on the beach with my feet in the sand when I started reading the novel. Then, it felt like a dream. From sentences like "The water seems to be calling my name" to "Home means a city in the sky, sometimes," this book is a mixture of dystopian and poem, which contradict each other perfectly. I really want to see where these characters go and how the author takes us on the journey, paralleling her writing style with the content of the book.
I'm fascinated by the telling of bots, but also how nature fits into the broader narrative of the book. I for sure will be reading this full book when I can get my hands on it. The one thing that I had to do was heavily focus, as the story does not tell you what's going on, but rather shows the reader what is happening.
