"Why experience something in real life when real life had become so volatile?"

This story grabbed me straight away. One girl, mysteriously alone with questionable memories, struggling beach-side to build a means of escape. One girl, holo-ing in and out of a party, while worrying about how she looks, motives-wise, hiding away in a corner of the kitchen, thinking about her lost sister, and trying to decide if she should just leave the party, get out before it becomes too much. These two sisters are clearly living two very different existences on an Earth torn apart and changed by extremes in weather, pollution and climate change. Both still thinking about the about the other and longing to know what's happening with them, and to reconnect. I'm very curious to see the how and the why of their separation.
