WOW! What a first look! He wastes no time in drawing readers in, painting a picture of two sisters lost in their own ways and living in dramatically different worlds. I've only read two chapters, but I am already fascinated by Holoing and this dystopian/apocalyptic/tech-driven world. Also, the 'star-crossed lovers trying to survive their dying world' trope is tired, so I am absolutely LOVING the already apparent themes of sisterhood and familial bonds. Cee and Kay are going to be an unforgettable pair in the literary world very soon.
