Sisters, Futuristic/Dystopian World, Amnesia!
My first impression of this book was that the cover was purely stunning!
The excerpt appears to have two settings: a remote desert island with an amnesiac girl and a couple robots vs. a futuristic dystopian world where life is lived almost entirely virtually/holographically (?).
I don’t usually enjoy dystopian books, but this excerpt gave me the vibes of the TV show Lost somehow mixed with Wall-E, and I’m so incredibly intrigued and excited to read more!
