Not my typical read, but I enjoyed...

I liked the start of this one. I like the characters thus far, and I also like that it gets right into setting up the plot - although the first look was relatively short, I get the impression that this is a well paced novel. It isn't my usual genre of read, so I can't say that I would buy this for myself but I would be curious to see where it goes.
