Intriguing mix of Castaway and Black Mirror

This book immediately gave me Castaway vibes, especially with Cee being trapped on an island with only a dictionary-like robot as a friend. However, I was immediately drawn in by the lush landscape of the island and the promise of Cee finally being able to return to her sister. Conversely, the world her sister lives in reminded me of Black Mirror. I loved the introduction to the eco-city and the after-effects of climate change and the premise of holograms is always really exciting to me. I can't wait to read more!
